Job Description
Overview:
The Salesforce Development (Financial Force Experience) role plays a critical function in our organizations technology team focusing on the development and customization of our Salesforce platform particularly with a strong emphasis on Financial Force. This role is essential for the successful implementation and optimization of Salesforce solutions tailored to our financial processes and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and customize Salesforce solutions with a focus on Financial Force to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document business processes and create technical design specifications
- Build and maintain Visualforce pages Apex classes triggers and custom controllers
- Develop and optimize Apex SOQL and Salesforce Lightning components
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications using REST and SOAP APIs
- Perform unit testing debugging and troubleshooting of the Salesforce platform
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
- Implement and maintain security and sharing rules profiles and permission sets
- Assist in data migration and management activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides
- Stay updated with Salesforce and Financial Force releases and best practices
- Provide technical support and resolve system issues and inquiries
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Salesforce development processes and methodologies
- Train and mentor junior Salesforce developers
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and vendors for project delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications
- Proven experience in Salesforce development with a focus on Financial Force
- Demonstrable expertise in Apex Visualforce and Lightning component development
- Proficiency in Salesforce technologies including Process Builder Workflow Rules and Approval Processes
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and database architecture
- Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and AngularJS
- Ability to write and optimize SOQL queries for performance
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
- Financial Force certification is a plus
