Job Description
IT Infrastructure & Network Lead
We are seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure & Network Lead to lead our companys IT Infrastructure and ensure the efficient operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the IT department managing IT infrastructure & projects and implementing strategies to enhance our organizations infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in setting up managing and enhancing the company IT infrastructure including storage compute network working closely with the stakeholders of the IT infrastructure.
- Manage the procurement deployment maintenance and entire life cycle of end user devices for all
- the employees of the organization
- Lead and manage the IT department overseeing a team of IT professionals and providing guidance
- and support to ensure the successful delivery of IT services.
- Develop and implement IT policies procedures and standards to maintain the security reliability
- and performance of our IT infrastructure.
- Plan coordinate and execute IT projects including system upgrades migrations and deployments to
- meet business objectives and deadlines.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and vendors ensuring alignment with the companys
- strategic goals and budgetary constraints.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity and availability of our systems networks and data implementing
- security measures and disaster recovery plans as needed.
- Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex IT issues and escalations collaborating
- with internal teams and external partners as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry trends emerging technologies and best practices and make
- recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous learning within the IT department
- promoting professional development and career growth for team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; Masters degree
- preferred.
- 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT management roles with a strong background in leading
- IT teams and managing enterpriselevel IT infrastructure and projects.
- Expertise in IT infrastructure management including network/Linux servers/storage administration
- system architecture and cloud computing technologies.
- A sound knowledge of Linux will be required.
- Indepth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices with experience implementing
- security controls and compliance measures.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
