Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Design Engineer to join our dynamic team as an
Assistant Manager Design. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and
excellent communication skills to drive new product development manage raw material
requirements and ensure effective coordination with clients Business Development Managers
and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development:
Design innovative products meeting client requirements and industry standards.
Prepare product prototypes drawings and specifications.
2. Costing and Estimation:
Prepare accurate product costing and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
Analyze and optimize material costs.
3. Client and Vendor Management:
Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and preferences.
Collaborate with vendors for material sourcing and procurement.
4. Project Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely completion.
Ensure effective communication with crossfunctional teams.
5. Raw Material Management:
Source and procure raw materials ensuring quality and costeffectiveness.
Manage inventory and optimize material usage.
6. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Business Development Managers to identify new opportunities.
Provide technical support to the sales team.
Requirements:
1. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD SolidWorks etc.).
Strong knowledge of mechanical/civil engineering principles.
2. Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present designs and ideas effectively.
3. Project Management Skills:
Proven experience in managing multiple projects.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Teamwork and Collaboration:
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
Strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills.
Desirable:
1. Experience in product design and development.
2. Knowledge of industryspecific software and tools.
3. Certification in project management or design engineering.
