Job Description

Overview

The Pre Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth by providing strategic guidance to prospective clients and generating leads. They are responsible for understanding customer requirements demonstrating product capabilities and ensuring customer satisfaction by offering tailored solutions. The Pre Sales Executive collaborates closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop winning proposals and pitches ultimately contributing to the companys success in acquiring new business.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and challenges
  • Provide expert product knowledge and technical assistance to the sales team and clients
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of the companys products
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine sales strategies and pitches
  • Prepare and present proposals that address client needs concerns and objectives
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop impactful sales tools and collateral
  • Assist in the preparation of RFPs and RFIs ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to generate leads and build relationships
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Stay updated on industry trends market conditions and customer insights
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and followups
  • Provide feedback from clients to the product and operations teams on product improvements
  • Participate in pricing and contract negotiations with clients
  • Support the sales team in the negotiation and closure of deals

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in a presales or similar role within the software industry
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify customer needs and pain points
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for lead management and customer relationship tracking
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive highenergy culture
  • Understanding of sales methodologies and techniques to drive revenue growth
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proactive resultsoriented mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets and objectives
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to influence decision makers and close deals
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
  • Knowledge of SaaS CRM or related software solutions is highly advantageous
  • Certifications in sales or product management are a plus
  • Fluency in multiple languages may be beneficial for engaging with diverse clients
