Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic images such as Xrays CT scans MRIs and ultrasounds.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to discuss diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of radiology reports.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology technology and procedures.
- Provide expert guidance on radiation safety protocols and practices.
- Participate in multidisciplinary medical team meetings to collaborate on patient care.
- Supervise and train radiologic technologists and other staff.
- Conduct research and contribute to academic and scientific initiatives in radiology.
- Adhere to medical ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Consult with referring physicians to clarify and discuss imaging findings.
Required Qualifications:
- MD DNB or DMRD qualification in Radiology or equivalent.
- Valid medical license in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
- Proven experience as a Radiologist Consultant in a clinical setting.
- Expertise in interpreting various diagnostic imaging modalities.
- Strong grasp of anatomy pathology and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and highpressure environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Detailoriented with exceptional analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Experience in using radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
- Capability to mentor and guide junior radiology staff.
- Willingness to participate in oncall duties as necessary.
- Understanding of evidencebased medicine and quality improvement processes.
- Dedication to providing compassionate and patientcentered care.
