Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Performance Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing with proficiency in Python and experience using Locust for performance and load testing. You will be responsible for designing implementing and executing performance tests to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop performance test plans test scripts and test scenarios using Python and Locust.
- Execute performance tests to identify performance bottlenecks analyze results and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor and analyze application performance using performance monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to ensure performance issues are identified and resolved.
- Generate performance test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve performance testing strategies and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in performance testing and apply them to improve our testing methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of experience in performance testing.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Handson experience with Locust for performance and load testing.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter Gatling or similar.
- Understanding of web technologies HTTP and APIs.
- Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into the build process.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of database performance and optimization.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
