Job Description
Role: IBM QA Tester
Location: Remote for Strong Candidates
Work Authorization: USC GC H4EAD H1B Transfer & GCEAD
Job Type: Tax Term: W2/1099 (Only)
Job description:
- Testing Techniques:
Experience in functional regression integration user acceptance and performance testing. - Automation Tools:
Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium QTP or similar. - Test Management Tools:
Skilled in managing and tracking test cases and defects using tools like JIRA TestRail or HP Quality Center.
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): - Strong understanding of the SDLC and its integration with QA processes.
- Ability to analyze requirements for clarity completeness and testability.
Technical Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages like Java Python or SQL.
- Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.
- Handson experience with IBM ACE APPIGEE and DataPower.
- Proven experience leading QA teams including hiring training and mentoring QA engineers.
- Expertise in managing endtoend QA processes for complex projects.
Project Management Skills:
- Skilled in risk management and mitigation strategies in QA contexts.
- Strong analytical skills for issue identification impact assessment and solution development.
- Effective troubleshooting and problemresolution abilities.
- Skilled in working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams including developers designers product managers and customer support.
