Job Description
The Control Engineer will design program troubleshoot maintain and update PLCbased systems using the Codesys development platform. This role involves understanding new and modified requirements analyzing existing code and translating functional requirements into PLC programs. The engineer will also implement interlocks and safety mechanisms for Electrical and Energy Management Systems.
Skills/Expertise Required:
- Applications Development: Handson experience in developing integrating testing and troubleshooting SoftPLC/HMI/DCS applications using Codesys. Familiarity with platforms such as Siemens Schneider Allen Bradley or Delta is a plus.
- Programming: Proficient in Structured Text (ST) and ExST programming under Codesys Automation Server and scripting.
- Electrical Systems: Understanding standard notations and industrial protocols like Modbus Profibus EthernetIP and DNP3.
