Experienced Estimator for Interior FitOut Projects
Our Client is a leading subcontractor specializing in highend interior fitout projects. Their portfolio includes some of the most prestigious commercial developments nationally where quality and precision are paramount. We take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship across joinery glazed partitions drylining and structural glazing packages.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detailoriented Estimator to join our clients team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in estimating for interior fitout packages including joinery glazed partitions drylining and structural glazing. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in our companys ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior fitout projects focusing on joinery glazed partitions drylining and structural glazing.
- Analyze drawings specifications and other documents to identify scope requirements and potential costsaving opportunities.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors obtaining competitive quotations.
- Collaborate with project managers architects and clients to ensure all estimates are aligned with project requirements and budgets.
- Present cost estimates and pricing strategies to senior management ensuring they reflect the current market conditions and company objectives.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry standards materials and construction methods related to interior fitout packages.
- Track project costs monitor progress against estimates and prepare reports for management review.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of X years of experience as an estimator in the construction or fitout industry with a strong focus on joinery glazed partitions drylining and structural glazing.
- Indepth knowledge of construction materials methods and industry standards specific to interior fitout projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam ProEst or similar) and strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with clients suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining highquality standards.
- Relevant qualifications in construction quantity surveying or a related field (preferred).
