We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care Physician Assistant to join our team in Bakersfield for coverage through the year!
n this role you will be treating both scheduled and walkin workrelated injuries and urgent care patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat workrelated injuries
Perform preplacement DOT public safety and surveillance physical examinations
Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walkin basis
Perform inoffice procedures as needed
Communicate with employers to provide medical guidance and recommendations
Exhibit welcoming skillful and respectful behaviors at all times
Complete all documentation in a timely and appropriate manner
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Assignment Duration: As soon as credentialed through the end of December.

CA License
Occupational Medicine Experience: Highly desired (1 year) Urgent Care Experience: Nice to have (1 year) DOT Certified Ability to Treat Autonomously: Required Board Certification or Eligibility in Primary Care or Related Field: Highly desired
