We re looking for a talented Analytics Engineer to join us at Pargo. As a key player in our datadriven business youll be instrumental in advancing our data infrastructure and transforming raw data into actionable insights. You are a highly analytical and selfmotivated individual with 23 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a similar role. In this centralized position youll collaborate with stakeholders across the business including the commercial operations and engineering teams to tackle a wide range of data challenges. Your focus will be on building and maintaining data pipelines developing data models and ensuring data quality to empower the organization to make datadriven decisions. You will work closely with the Data Team Lead to execute our data strategy and promote a culture of data excellence.
Data Modeling: Design implement and maintain robust data models to support reporting analytics and machine learning initiatives.
ETL/ELT Pipelines: Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes using tools like dbt ensuring that data is transformed and loaded efficiently and accurately.
Collaboration: Partner with other data professionals and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Data Quality: Implement and monitor data quality checks to maintain the accuracy reliability and completeness of the data across all systems.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for data models transformation logic and business rules to ensure transparency and ease of use.
Optimization: Continuously refine and optimize data workflows for performance scalability and reliability.
Version Control: Utilize version control systems like Git to manage changes in data pipelines and models ensuring consistency and collaboration within the team
To thrive in our fastgrowing scaleup environment you need to be efficient in achieving outcomes. Its essential to learn from our existing models and systems maintaining and optimizing them as necessary. We re looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
Experience: 35 years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including technical writing.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
SQL & Dashboarding: Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with dashboarding tools are essential.
Technical Skills:
Experience in Python Tableau Zoho Analytics or PowerBI is advantageous.
Advanced Excel skills.
Soft Skills:
Selfmotivated and capable of working independently and within a team.
Strong business acumen with industry experience advantageous.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Engineering Computer Science Data Science Information Systems BSc/Bcom in Statistics or a related field.
Interest: A keen interest in ecommerce delivery services and trends.
