Job Details:
Position Title: Vice President Compliance
Reports to: Chief Compliance Officer
Location: Chennai
Organizational Overview:
The mission is to provide efficient and reliable access to debt capital markets for institutions that impact lowincome households. These include rural and urban microfinance institutions retail NBFCs and housing finance companies. The organization connects these institutions with capital markets and investors such as banks insurance companies and mutual funds through financial tools like securitization credit enhancement and debt structuring.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Identify and mitigate compliance risks.
Implement regulatory directions in line with applicable norms including thorough testing and reporting of results.
Ensure the timely implementation of applicable regulatory circular norms and Compliance Policy mandates along with the preparation of MIS and other reports.
Provide advisory support to management and other departments.
Implement and enforce policies processes and procedures in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements in a timely manner.
Follow up and ensure closure of Regulatory/Supervisory and internal audit findings within defined timelines.
Work towards reducing compliance risk incidents and ensure adherence to ethical standards and best industry practices.
Specifications: Qualifications Experience & Competencies:
Minimum Qualifications: Professionally Qualified (LL.B/CA/CS)
Minimum Experience: 810 years of experience in Compliance functions preferably within NBFCs (highest priority) or Banking.
