Job Description

This is a remote position.

Job Overview:

The Assistant Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the management accountant or financial controller in various financial activities including financial reporting budgeting and cost analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.


Job Description:

Assist in the preparation of financial reports including profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process by collecting and analyzing financial data identifying trends and providing insights to support decisionmaking.
Assist in analyzing costs and expenses to identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
Participate in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation responding to auditor inquiries and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Utilize accounting software and financial systems to record transactions generate reports and maintain accurate financial records.
Collaborate with other departments or teams to gather financial information explain financial concepts and support decisionmaking processes.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards regulations and industry best practices.





Requirements

Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field.
3 years of experience in Australian payroll tax experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Must have initiative.
General Ledger/Balance sheet recon experience
Experience in Oracle and Excel
