Your Role
We are hiring a Resource Optimization Specialist who will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize the utilization of resources improve productivity and streamline processes. This role will involve managing our Resource Catalog (RC) including entering new hires handling bench allocation and ensuring accurate and effective resource management for current and future projects. This is a remote position with a schedule of 8pm 5am PH time supporting the US EST timezone.
Key Responsibilities
- Resource Catalog Management:
- Enter new hires into the Resource Catalog.
- Add and delete individuals in the Resource Catalog as necessary ensuring the catalog reflects current employees and their statuses.
- Clean and maintain the Resource Catalog to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Bench Allocation and Optimization:
- Oversee bench allocation to efficiently place current PSC employees on potential or future projects.
- Actively manage and optimize the PSC Bench by identifying opportunities for new project placements and skill development.
- Monitor and address the readiness of bench resources for upcoming projects.
- Resource Planning and Allocation:
- Develop and implement comprehensive resource planning strategies to ensure effective allocation of internal resources.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Project Managers to forecast resource needs for upcoming projects.
- Assess current utilization identify resource requirements for project placements and implement improvement initiatives.
- Project Coordination:
- Gather project requirements and organize internal PSC resources for both US and PH placements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of internal resources including skills availability and expertise to match the right team members with appropriate projects.
- Monitor the duration of ongoing projects to plan for new project placements efficiently.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks related to resource allocation and develop mitigation plans to address any challenges.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Support all required documentation and reports related to resource management and optimization.
- Attend all required meetings and contribute to overall company objectives and success.
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in resource optimization project management or a related recruitment background.
- Experience coordinating technical and nontechnical projects within the life science pharma or biotech industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Project is required.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects and optimizing internal resources.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Familiarity with industryspecific tools and technologies for project management and resource optimization.
