Staff Software Engineer Cloud

Note: This role does not offer visa sponsorship. We are only looking for candidates in Germany who speak English (C1 or C2/Native) Languages.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Our mission is to accelerate the development of robotic applications and we need your expertise to build critical components of our platform.
  
• You will work on a complex landscape of components ranging from cloud services to edge computing and local systems at various customer sites. Your tasks will involve deploying integrating and securing services using modern identity management techniques.
  
• You will collaborate with our product manager and team to translate product requirements into implementable designs and actionable tasks guiding our software engineers on best practices for security.
  
• Your role will also involve assisting customers in creating and distributing their own applications.
  
• Throughout the process you ll be responsible for implementing solutions sharing knowledge documenting outcomes and presenting results alongside your team.
  

Requirements

• You are a highly creative problem solver with a handson approach always considering challenges from the customer s perspective.
  
• You are comfortable engaging with customers to understand their technical requirements and constraints.
  
• You are an effective communicator fluent in English and ideally German with the ability to discuss technical topics clearly and share knowledge patiently.
  
• You have practical experience deploying services in Kubernetes environments both in the cloud and onpremises.
  
• You are familiar with the Azure ecosystem and have a working knowledge of Ansible Terraform or related tools.
  
• Serviceoriented architectures are more than just a buzzword to you you can discuss aspects like granularity orchestration and security with ease.
  
• You have a solid understanding of how authentication and authorization are implemented and can explain these concepts.
  

You re a standout applicant if:

• You have experience with AI solutions from OpenAI Microsoft Amazon or Google.
  
• You have worked on a software development kit (SDK) or similar tools and understand how to make functionality accessible to developers.
  
• You understand the operational aspects of delivering and supporting a platform.
  
• You possess deep knowledge of the internals of Linuxbased operating systems.
