Senior Finance Executive

1. Oversee all aspects of accounting administration including managing accounts payable receivable and general ledger transactions.

Review and approve payments with complete supporting documentation within the designated payment cycle including payments made via cheques telegraphic transfers bank drafts and petty cash.

Keep accounting journals ledgers and other records of financial business transactions updated and maintained.

Ensure all daily transactions are accurately recorded and updated in the Microsoft Dynamics BC accounting system

Prepare full monthly management accounts and ensure they are completed within the required timeline.

Collaborate with the project team to ensure the timely closure of project final accounts and their accurate recording in the financial statements.

Manage the statutory audit process to ensure compliance and successful clearance.

2. Handle taxrelated responsibilities including:

Yearly tax computation.

Income tax submissions.

Knowledge of Withholding Tax is a plus.

3. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including accounting taxation legal and secretarial duties.

4. Act as the primary liaison with external auditors tax agents bankers company secretaries and other statutory bodies/authorities.

Requirements

Candidates must possess at least Bachelor s Degree Partial Professional Degree.

Minimum 5 years working experience in Construction Industry.

Added advantage if having audit tax or corporate finance exposure.

Possess good communication skills and fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Can handle full set of accounts of Construction Industry.

Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Dynamic BC accounting software

Meticulous good with figures and ability to work with minimum supervision.
