Job Description

Job Title: Sales & Travel Agency Specialist
Location: Ikeja Lagos state.

About Company: Our client is a fullservice travel agency that specializes in curated educational and sightseeing tours for a diverse clientele including schools corporations families highnetworth individuals etc. They cater to all travel styles from adventurous explorers to discerning luxury travelers seeking the ultimate experience.

Job Summary: The company is seeking to hire an experienced sales & travel agency specialist who will be responsible for ensuring daily operational management of the agency sales targets and development staffing and financial management and will be responsible for the overall performance of the company. You will also be responsible for leading and overseeing the work of employees in the company to ensure everyone delivers expected results.

The ideal candidate will be a professional who will ensure the efficiency of business operations and the attainment of operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement business plan and strategies for the agency based on prediscussed KPIs.
  • Increase sales and manage costs to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and improve service.
  • Lead staff set targets and motivate teams.
  • Build strong relationships with travel vendors and suppliers.
  • Analyze data and track performance for datadriven decisions.
  • Represent the company at industry events.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal regulations.
  • Recruit train and retain top talent.
  • Acquire develop and manage corporate accounts.
  • Build strong customer relationships for client retention.
  • Develop proposals identify advantages plan sales strategies and create new business opportunities.
  • Manage budgets collect payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Track sales revenue customer needs and market trends through weekly reports.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments for synergy.
  • Attend events learn best practices and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Weekly and Monthly sales targets to be discussed with MD/CEO.


Requirements

  • Degree in Management Business Studies or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative Travel Consultant and Agency Management.
  • Highly motivated vibrant productive result oriented and target driven with a proven track record in sales and agency management
  • Excellent selling negotiation and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of marketing techniques is highly preferred; you need to find ways to market our business better
  • Prioritizing time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Team management leadership and organization skills
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office databases and information systems
