Job Opportunity: Retail Agronomy Location Manager – Northwest Indiana
A leading Ag retailer in Northwest Indiana is seeking an experienced and driven Retail Agronomy Location Manager to oversee sales and operations at a large fullservice fertilizer plant. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional value to our customers by providing topquality crop production products and services tailored to meet their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
A leading Ag retailer in Northwest Indiana is seeking an experienced and driven Retail Agronomy Location Manager to oversee sales and operations at a large fullservice fertilizer plant. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional value to our customers by providing topquality crop production products and services tailored to meet their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the agronomy retail location ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the sales and distribution of fertilizers chemicals and other crop production products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers understanding their needs and offering solutions that enhance their crop yields.
- Lead and mentor a team of agronomy professionals fostering a collaborative and highperforming work environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies including safety standards and environmental guidelines.
- Associate’s degree (AS) or higher in Agriculture or a related field.
- Proven experience in agronomy sales and operations with a strong understanding of the agricultural market.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDL 1A and Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) licenses.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a customerfocused approach.
- Competitive salary ranging from $70000 to $90000 plus incentives based on experience.
