- We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated BSc Nursing Tutor to join our academic team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering highquality education and training to nursing students ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their nursing careers.
- The BSc Nursing Tutor will also engage in academic advising curriculum development and research activities to enhance the nursing program.
Requirements
Instructional Duties:
- Deliver lectures practical sessions and seminars in nursing subjects including but not limited to anatomy physiology pharmacology nursing theories and clinical practices.
- Develop and implement instructional materials including lesson plans handouts and online resources.
- Assess and evaluate students progress through exams quizzes assignments and practical demonstrations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic and professional development.
Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop review and update the nursing curriculum and course content.
- Integrate current best practices research findings and advancements in nursing into the curriculum.
Academic Advising:
- Offer academic and career advice to students including guidance on clinical placements research projects and career planning.
- Address student inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of student performance attendance and grades.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to institutional committees as required.
- Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards.
