The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales operations for Heavy Commercial Vehicles. (HCV) within Trichy and the surrounding districts.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing sales teams implementing sales strategies and achieving sales targets in the commercial vehicle sector.
Requirements
SalesStrategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Commercial Vehicles in Trichy and surrounding districts.
Set sales targets for the team and ensure they are met through effective planning and monitoring.
Identify new business opportunities and markets for Commercial Vehicles in the region.
Stay updated on market trends competitor activities and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage a team of sales executives and support staff providing guidance training and motivation.
Conduct regular performance reviews provide feedback and set development plans for team members.
Ensure that the sales team adheres to dealership policies procedures and sales protocols.
Foster a collaborative and highperformance work environment focused on achieving collective goals.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers including fleet operators businesses and individual buyers.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries handling complaints and providing timely solutions.
Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and propose suitable Commercial Vehicle solutions.
Oversee the postsale process to ensure smooth delivery customer followup and aftersales support.
Market Development:
Expand Commercial Vehicles presence in Trichy and neighboring districts by exploring new sales channels and partnerships.
Work with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities product launches and campaigns tailored to the local market. Engage with local businesses trade associations and key industry stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
SalesReporting & Analysis:
Monitor daily weekly and monthly sales performance and prepare detailed reports for senior management. Analyze sales data to identify trends areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team for continuous improvement in sales operations.
ProductKnowledge & Training:
Ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about Commercial Vehicle models features specifications and pricing.
Stay uptodate on new product developments and changes in the commercial vehicle industry.
Organize training sessions for the sales team on new products and technologies.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all sales transactions are conducted in compliance with dealership policies and government regulations.
Oversee the proper documentation and approval of all vehicle sales including financing and leasing agreements.
Maintain accurate records of sales customer interactions and followup activities
