Roles & Key Responsibilities:

1.Career Counseling and Guidance:

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to help students understand their interests skills and values.

Assist students in exploring career options understanding job market trends and identifying potential career paths.

Provide guidance on setting academic and career goals and developing actionable plans to achieve them.

2.Educational Planning:

Advise students on course selections college admissions and other educational opportunities.

Support students in understanding the connection between their academic achievements and career aspirations.

Assist in the preparation of applications for colleges vocational schools internships and scholarships.

3.Career Exploration and Development:

Organize and facilitate career exploration activities workshops and guest speaker events.

Coordinate job shadowing internships and other experiential learning opportunities.

Provide resources and tools for career assessments and skill development.

4.Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with teachers school administrators and parents to support student career development.

Collaborate with community organizations businesses and higher education institutions to provide additional resources and opportunities for students.

Maintain and update career resources such as career libraries online databases and information about local job markets.

5.Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of student interactions career plans and progress.

Prepare and deliver reports on career counseling activities and student outcomes as required.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations school policies and confidentiality standards.

6.Professional Development:

Stay current with trends and developments in career counseling education and the job market.

Attend professional development workshops and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualification:

• Any UG/ PG qualification

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students parents and educators.
• Knowledge of career assessment tools and resources.
• Organizational and timemanagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
