Position Purpose

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing implementing and maintaining project schedules and plans ensuring that projects are completed on time within scope and on budget. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders monitoring project progress and providing analytical support to project teams. The Senior Planning Engineer plays a key role in the risk management resource allocation and decisionmaking processes.

The senior planning engineer shall work with client in their upcoming hotel projects. Principal duties include the development of P6 Schedule establish Planning and Scheduling Standards for projects support Dashboard team for integration of P6 / Microsoft Projects and Power BI.

Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelors/ master s degree in engineering or a related field.

A valid engineering license.

12 years with 6 years of hospitality experience.

Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.

Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 MS Project and other equivalent.

Excellent project management and presentation skills.

Excellent organizational time management analytical and problemsolving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of applicable codes policies standards and best practices.

Experience with PMC.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop maintain and refine the projects master schedule incorporating all project phases milestones and key activities.

Support the Tendering team in preparing the Schedule for the Tender project.

Prepare narrative and Critical Path analysis for Schedule.

Establish the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to successfully plan and deliver a measured breakdown of Project components progress measurement budgeting and reporting.

Collaborate closely with project team engineers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive integration of individual schedules into the overarching project timeline.

Proactively identify potential scheduling risks and work with the project team to devise mitigation strategies.

Regularly review and monitor project progress against the master schedule making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.

Provide timely and accurate progress reports to senior management highlighting any deviations from the plan and suggesting corrective actions.

Ensure efficient allocation and sequencing of resources including manpower equipment and materials in line with the projects luxury standards.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all planning and scheduling queries ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of project timelines.

Stay updated with the latest planning tools techniques and best practices to ensure the project planning approach remains cuttingedge.

Mentor guide and lead the planning team fostering a culture of precision and forwardthinking.

Monitor critical project milestones ensuring timely completion and alignment with the broader project timeline.

Prepare Planning related Plans and Procedures.
