Your role at Eye

Eye Security is a fastgrowing cybersecurity scaleup founded in 2020 by three employees of the Dutch Secret Service with the mission to protect the digital assets of SMEs across Europe. With a robust portfolio under the Eye Cyber Guard product bundle Eye Security offers customized cybersecurity solutions in a subscriptionbased SaaS model. The offering ranges from Managed Detection and Response Incident Response and Attack Surface Management to Security Awareness Services and Insurance and is aimed at a customer base of over 450 companies. Eye Security currently employs over 100 ambitious IT experts in the Netherlands Belgium Germany and the UK.

Cyber Security Consultants are part of the Service Delivery team at Eye Security. As a consultant you are responsible for onboarding new customers and assisting them in implementing EDR and Cloud monitoring. You will be providing customers with advice regarding their cyber security posture and assisted by our first line support team and technical experts helping them solve more complex security questions.

As the Service Delivery team is at the heart of Eye Security there are plenty of opportunities to make an impact by optimizing and improving the way Eye operates. Not only on a technical level but also when it comes to building relations with our customers.

Tasks

What you will do

• You will be the one to guide new customers through our stateoftheart onboarding process and help them improve their security posture.
• You provide assistance to customers that reach out with security questions by assessing how Eye resources can best be used to provide them with solutions.
• Periodic reviews are part of Eyes offering. You will be delivering tailored security advice to customers and helping them understand what measures to take and which to prioritize. You will be supported by a Cyber Security Specialist in analysis and in determining measures.
• Eye Security is constantly improving the way it works. In the Service Delivery team there are many opportunities to bring your own ideas to the table and see them be implemented.
• As Service Delivery is the linchpin of Eye Security you will be working closely with our various teams be it Product Customer Success Engineering Security Operations or Threat Intelligence allowing you to grow in different aspects of Cyber Security.

Requirements

Job requirements

• A thorough understanding of cyber security either through working experience education or both.
• Show strong ownership and responsibility when it comes to performing your function.
• A wellfounded understanding of small to mediumsized IT networks and cloud environments. A formal education in this field is not required.
• Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Be able to work with customers and take on the role of advisor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a plus.
• Creativity and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Dutch when you live in the Netherlands or fluent german when you live in Germany
• Very good written and spoken English skills
