Job Description:

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team for a specialized role in migrating Kafka systems to Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kafka core Java and migration projects with additional experience in Apache Storm being advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of existing Kafka infrastructure to Amazon MSK.
• Deep hands on experience in Java and Core Java.
• Design develop and optimize scalable solutions for data streaming and processing.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka/MSK in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the migration process.

Candidate Profile

• Strong proficiency in Apache Kafka.
• Expertise in Core Java with a solid understanding of its ecosystem.
• Familiarity with AWS services particularly Amazon MSK.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience with Apache Storm for realtime stream processing.
• Familiarity with other AWS services (e.g. Lambda S3 CloudWatch).

Educational Background:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering with 6 years experience
