Job Description

We are hiring a STAFF NURSE PAEDIATRICS for a Private Hospital in Cork Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with children and asking questions about their health for diagnosis and documenting patients symptoms and medical history for the doctor.
- Assessing a childs needs and providing initial care.
- Identifying changes in childrens symptoms and intervening in emergency situations.
- Participating in pain management for children.
- Administering medications drawing blood and giving childhood vaccinations following ageappropriate guidelines.
- Monitoring temperature pulse breathing and blood pressure and keeping accurate records.
- Evaluating children for signs and symptoms of abuse.
- Providing supportive care to dying children.
Requirements
- Registered in the General and/or Paediatric Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI
- Paediatric Experience or Dual qualifications in Paediatric nursing not essential but desirable.
