Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and analytical Investment Analyst to join our clients team in Manama Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment analysis with experience in the GCC region and will be responsible for monitoring and tracking investments to ensure optimal utilization of funds. This role is crucial for supporting the companys growth and ensuring the financial success of its portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investment Monitoring and Analysis:

    • Monitor and track the performance of investments ensuring that funds are being utilized effectively and in line with strategic goals.
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis including ROI IRR and other key financial metrics to assess the viability and performance of investments.
    • Prepare regular reports on investment performance highlighting key findings challenges and recommendations for senior management.
    • Ensure compliance with investment policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
  2. Financial Modeling and Forecasting:

    • Develop and maintain financial models to project investment outcomes and assess potential risks.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts budgets and business plans for investment opportunities.
    • Analyze market trends industry data and economic indicators to inform investment decisions.
  3. Due Diligence:

    • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities including market research financial analysis and risk assessment.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather relevant information and insights for investment evaluations.
  4. Reporting and Communication:

    • Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for the Head of Enterprise and senior management.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates on investment performance highlighting any potential issues or areas for improvement.
  5. Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess risks associated with investments proposing strategies to mitigate these risks.
    • Monitor and report on any potential threats to the financial health of the company s investments.
  6. Collaboration and Support:

    • Work closely with the Head of Enterprise and other team members to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
    • Provide financial insights and analysis to support the company s growth objectives across various sectors.



Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field; CFA Level 1 certification is preferred.
  • 35 years of experience in investment analysis with a strong focus on the GCC region particularly Bahrain.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and tracking investments with a deep understanding of financial metrics and analysis.
  • Strong financial modeling analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software including Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of GCC/Bahrain regulations and investment landscape is essential.
