To further our mission we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for Programme Design Curriculum Development and Evaluation to join our team.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
The minimum qualification requirement is a postgraduate diploma in higher education. A master s in education is preferred
Proven experience and success in programme design and accreditation submissions to quality councils
Experience designing programmes for the contact blended and distance delivery modes
Experience in developing and reviewing curriculum content
Familiar with educational technology and elearning methodologies
Experience within the creative arts or hospitality tertiary education sector will be an added advantage
Essential Skills:
Excellent academic writing skills
Detailed orientated
Applied critical thinking and analysis of information and data
Ability to communicate and collaborate with academic developers campus teams and quality councils
Affinity to work with systems processes and policies
Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices
Proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite
i. Evaluate currently registered qualifications and curriculum for adjustment or resubmission/registration to meet institutional IQA (internal quality assurance) and quality council requirements.
a. Review and identify opportunities for programme/module improvement and transformation
b. Identify opportunities/trends to improve operational efficiencies
c. Conduct and analyse user feedback/data to implement enhancements
ii. Design new programmes for accreditation and registration by the quality councils.
a. Administer programme submissions gather evidence and respond to conditions in time
b. Provide input to the marketing collateral for new programmes
iii. Develop implement and monitor the implementation of current and new programmes and their operational impact
a. Inform of changes to institutional policies and processes
b. Prepare/adjust module mapping and ensure efficient resource and workload allocation are implemented across all campuses and modes of provision
c. Work closely with the Assessment Manager to ensure assessment standards for programmes are met
iv. Collaborate with the campus academic team(s) to present RPL /CAT requests for approval
v. Prepare and submit complete submissions to the quality councils for the extension of scope for current or new campuses
