Job Description
As a Gateway Expert you will:
- Manage high availability network security devices including firewalls web proxies email gateways and VPN.
- Install patches troubleshoot problems configure new devices and perform hardware replacements as needed.
- Monitor network security systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement network security solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior network security staff.
What You Bring to the Table:
- At least eight years of experience working with network security devices.
- Experience working in a large and complex environment with high availability.
- Knowledge and multiple years of experience working with Juniper firewalls Fortinet firewalls Palo Alto firewalls Fortinet web proxies Cisco Firepower VPN and Proofpoint email gateways.
- Knowledge of network technology.
- Cisco certification is a benefit.
You should possess the ability to:
- Perform all the duties listed from the start of the assignment.
- Manage and troubleshoot high availability network security devices.
- Configure new devices and perform hardware replacements as needed
