The Role

As an Applied LLM & Machine Learning Engineer at Recyda youll be responsible for integrating advanced Machine Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs) techniques into our packaging sustainability management platform. Your work will directly impact how some of the largest enterprise clients in the world analyze report and improve their packaging sustainability efforts.

Tasks

• Own initiatives to develop and implement ML & LLM solutions to automate and enhance packaging analysis for sustainability metrics (incl. e.g. recyclability producer responsibility regulations etc.)
• Design and build intelligent systems to extract insights from vast amounts of packaging and regulation data
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for AIdriven improvements in our platform
• Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in LLMs ML and AI and propose innovative applications for our platform

Requirements

Professional Experience:

• 5 years of experience in general software development with a current focus on ML and AI applications. Preferably a fullstack mindset and experience with Node.js and TypeScriptbased applications.
• Strong programming skills in relevant languages and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch)
• Experience working with LLMs and natural language processing techniques
• Solid understanding of data structures algorithms and software design principles
• Excellent problemsolving skills and work ethic to thrive in a fastpaced startup environment
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) and containerization technologies is a plus
• Interest in sustainability and circular economy concepts is of course a big plus
