The Accounts Head will oversee all financial activities of the stock brokerage firm ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements maintaining accurate financial records and providing strategic financial insights. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets brokerage operations and regulatory frameworks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daytoday accounting operations including general ledger maintenance accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes providing financial insights to support strategic decisionmaking
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations including those specific to the stock brokerage industry.
• Manage mentor and develop the finance and accounts team ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. CPA CFA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in accounting or finance with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a stock brokerage or financial services firm.
• Indepth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles applicable to the brokerage industry.
• Proficiency in financial analysis budgeting and forecasting.
