What were looking for :

Were looking for a Data Center Technician to join a team within infrastructure operations. The scope of work includes rack and stack of servers network and other devices. Work also involves basic hardware diagnostic and replacement of failed components in servers and network devices. Must be able to work effectively with minimum supervision and handle multiple priorities.

The candidate will need to provide operational support to our European Data Center. Theyll be responsible for the day to day incident management of servers and networking equipment as well as any project work. The technician will be working closely with the Data Center Manager on projects scheduling.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications :

• Manage work and priorities through the ticketing system and coordination with Data Center Manager
  
• Perform network cabling hardware troubleshooting and component replacement
  
• Collaborate with outside teams to resolve issues
  
• Participate in oncall rotation and provide afterhours support as needed
  
• Highly organized and able to coordinate with other team members
  
• Some travel may be required within Europe.
  

Preferred Qualifications :

• Basic knowledge of Linux and/or similar OS
  
• Basic knowledge of networking
  
• Understanding of server hardware components
  
• Must exhibit good communication and grammatical skills
  
• Must be capable of lifting 15kg
  
• Must be able to pass a background check
  
• Must be able to function well under pressure with multiple changing priorities
