Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Summary
The Customer is looking up to 5 graphic designers on a LongTerm Engagement to support their effort in delivering messages initiatives implementation results by incorporating well designed
graphics into its communication strategies and activities.
The Graphic Designer will provide creative design and layout services of publications and other communications materials including printed digital and online products as well as animated graphics. The Graphic Designer will produce products based on the content and guidance provided by the hiring unit for each assignment ensuring effective conveyance of the textual content to target audiences while in full compliance with branding and style guide.
Responsibilities & Duties
The consultant will be responsible for:
Transforming textbased communications materials into visual graphic design materials such as infographic brochures backdrop etc.
Develop designs for communication materials based on assignment brief.
Provide recommendations on the best and most relevant visual design style and materials suitable for the project s target audience.
Examples of deliverables are:
Project brochures
Project infographics
Project factsheets
Project Leaflets
Project Posters
Visuals for social media campaigns
Layout design for project and annual reports
Design for project communications collaterals such as: notepad dug bag backdrop banners tshirts/hats cards calendars etc.
Custom photo editing (restoration noise reduction tonal adjustment
Deliverables will be required to be produced in a variety of formats including for digital and print distribution depending on the needs of the office.
Essential Skills
.
University degree (bachelor s degree) in Industrial Art Graphic Design or diploma on completion of training course on professional graphic design.

Certificate on Product is mandatory.
.
A minimum five years of experience working as a graphic designer in a multicultural international environment.
.
At least 5 products designed for the Government Agencies / International development agencies.
.
Strong graphic design skills including the mastery of all standard design software included in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) Sketch or other industrystandard tools.

Knowledge of typography color theory layout design and image editing.
Nice to Have Skills
.
Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to deliver projects within assigned deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal skills and objectivity; and

Experience working collaboratively in a team structure in a multicultural environment.

Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.

Have you been arrested indicted or summoned into court as a defendant in a criminal proceeding or convicted fined or imprisoned for the violation of any law (excluding minor traffic violations) If yes give full particulars of each case in an attached statement.
Statement of Health
The selected contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance coverage as stated in the Statement of Health herewith attached prior to contract signature.
