Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company including budgeting forecasting financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the food manufacturing industry with a proven ability to drive financial performance and support business decisionmaking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Reporting: Prepare and present monthly quarterly and annual financial reports providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis including production costs material costs and overhead to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts identifying key variances and providing actionable insights to management.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations capital expenditures and growth initiatives.
• Internal Controls: Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Tax Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance activities ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support longterm business objectives.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external auditors banks and financial institutions ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Team Leadership: Lead mentor and develop the finance team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations including GAAP IFRS and industryspecific standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
• CPA or CMA is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 57 years of experience in financial management preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of financial management principles including budgeting forecasting cost analysis and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Famous QuickBooks etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
• Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to nonfinancial stakeholders.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a finance team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the food manufacturing industry or a similar industry.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their financial modules.
