Retail Accounting Manager

The Job You Will Perform:

• Oversee the activities of the Retail Accounting Department ensuring the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including internal and external monthly financial statements account reconciliations projections and responses to annual audit inquiries.
  
• Provide indepth financial analysis reconciliation and performance reporting of the company s retail operations at a store level identifying areas of improvement making recommendations and implementing them as appropriate.
  
• Manage the activities of the Accounts Payable Department ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices vendor evaluations tax reporting (1099) etc.
  
• Oversee retail accounts receivable credit card activity and reconciliation retail cash receipts management and application and fuel inventory management.
  
• Complete complex analyses reconciliations and create insightful reports with strong general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and banking knowledge.
  
• Establish and maintain systems of control that verify the integrity of all systems processes and data.
  
• Participate in various special projects and compile a variety of special reports as needed.
  
• Effectively communicate with coworkers management clients franchisees and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  
• Conform with and abide by all regulations policies work procedures and instructions.
