Job Description
As an Endpoint Security Expert you will:
- Lead and manage endpoint security services across multiple networks focusing on a range of McAfee products including Firewall DLP drive encryption threat prevention and application control.
- Coordinate and guide a team of cybersecurity analysts in executing endpoint security tasks.
- Plan implement and lead the rollout of McAfee product upgrades at least bimonthly on Windows enduser devices (laptops workstations and VDI) and Windows/Linux servers.
- Ensure timely and effective response to tickets related to endpoint security.
- Collaborate with IT administrators to troubleshoot issues and determine if McAfee products are contributing to the problems.
- Test and implement security policies for endpoint protection.
- Optimize endpoint security policies to enhance performance and address performancerelated issues.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure configurations align with industry best practices.
- Follow approval processes to request necessary exceptions.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Recent experience managing a broad range of Trellix products (Firewall DLP drive encryption threat prevention application control) on Windows enduser devices and Windows/Linux servers.
- Proven experience managing technical teams to deliver results.
- Experience in service delivery within a complex IT environment adhering to ITIL processes while ensuring high system availability.
- Strong communication skills.
You should possess the ability to:
- Lead and mentor a team effectively.
- Plan and execute upgrades and policy implementations efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint security issues in collaboration with IT teams.
- Optimize security policies and ensure compliance with best practices.
