The model is focused on providing taxeffective solutions tailored to suit each clients individual needs.
Through a strong affiliation with a financial planning practice Acquire Strategic Accounting ensures that any financial planningrelated matters are addressed on their individual merits. If required a Financial Planner can meet with clients to assist with further taxeffective strategies superannuation and SelfManaged Super Fund advice insurance needs or any other financial planningrelated matters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for Individuals Company Trust Partnership
- Preparation of BAS IAS FBT Returns and Payroll Tax Returns.
- Bookkeeping and data entry.
- Liaise with relevant taxation and government authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC.
- Work with a team to ensure client work is completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Australian taxation and financial reporting.
- Extensive knowledge of Xero XPM MYOB QuickBooks and the ATO portal (preferred).
- Excellent understanding of Australian accounting and tax concepts.
- A positive attitude towards others.
- Happy and easy to approach.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Be selfmotivated detailoriented and dedicated to delivering exceptional client service.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A quick learner and can demonstrate the ability to think outside the box.
- Must be amenable to work from 9:00AM to 6:00PM AU Brisbane Time.
