The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a reputed hotel in East India. This role includes managing the financial reporting budgeting auditing and compliance functions. The Finance Controller will work closely with the hotel management team to provide financial insights ensure financial accuracy and drive profitability while adhering to corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and present monthly quarterly and annual financial reports to management.
Conduct financial analysis to provide insights on business performance.
Monitor financial KPIs and ensure they align with business objectives.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop implement and manage the annual budgeting process.
Prepare financial forecasts and analyse variances to ensure alignment with business goals.
Provide financial projections and budgetary advice to the management team.
Cost Control & Profitability:
Oversee cost management initiatives to enhance profitability.
Monitor and control departmental budgets and expenditures.
Analyse revenue streams and identify opportunities to improve margins.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with local state and federal financial regulations.
Oversee internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Manage financial risk and ensure proper internal controls are in place.
Team Leadership:
Lead mentor and develop the finance team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the hotel s financial stability.
Oversee treasury operations including investments financing and currency management.
Stakeholder Management:
Liaise with external stakeholders including banks auditors and government agencies.
Present financial data and strategic recommendations to the senior management team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA CPA ACCA) is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 810 years of experience in finance with at least 35 years in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Skills:
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
Proficiency in financial management software (e.g. SAP Oracle).
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Indepth knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Working Conditions:
Location: Based at ITC Hotel in East India with occasional travel as required.
Work Environment: Fastpaced dynamic environment within the hospitality industry.
Full Time
