The Opportunity

Seeking a highly motivated Estimator to contribute to the growth of infrastructure projects. You will play a pivotal role in developing accurate and timely estimates for RFPs RFQs and related projects. This position requires a strong understanding of infrastructure development and construction as well as the ability to effectively manage vendors subcontractors and suppliers to meet project deadlines. Successful candidates will possess excellent organizational and communication skills and thrive in a fastpaced environment.

The Estimator will collaborate closely with clients and subcontractors to gather comprehensive project information and develop detailed cost estimates. This role involves managing multiple projects across various states requiring strong time management and problemsolving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly review clientprovided plans specifications and documentation to define project requirements.
  

• Prepare detailed budget estimates by carefully studying project plans and specifications.
  

• Assess vendor offers based on site requirements potential modifications and cost implications.
  

• Identify and resolve cost differences through diligent analysis and data collection.
  

• Create and present comprehensive budget reports project plans and financial summaries.
  

• Develop competitive bid packages for construction projects.
  

• Maintain close working relationships with architects engineers and other professionals.
  

• Coordinate and schedule meetings with clients site managers and internal teams.
  

• Stay informed of and adhere to applicable building codes and regulations.
  

• Handle necessary paperwork and conduct site visits as required.
  

• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans and budget.
  

• Stay current on industry trends safety standards and construction advancements.
  

Requirements

• Excellent Communication: Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively advocate for client needs.
  
• Proposal Analysis: Proven ability to analyze RFP and RFQ requirements to identify project scope and deliverables.
  
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in reading and interpreting surveys construction drawings and technical specifications.
  
• Legal Document Comprehension: Demonstrated ability to understand and apply legal documents such as deeds leases easements and zoning regulations.
  
• Design and Construction Knowledge: Indepth understanding of design and construction principles regulations and industry standards.
  
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects meet deadlines and utilize project management tools effectively.
  
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel frequently including overnight stays as required by project needs.
  
• Estimating Experience: Minimum two years of handson experience in design and construction estimating.
  
• Quantitative Skills: Strong mathematical and financial analysis abilities.
  
• Technical Expertise: Experience with civil and electrical engineering designs and specifications.
  
• Vendor Management: Ability to collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather required project information.
  
• SelfSufficiency: Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
