Field Installation Technician

Cerberus Safety Systems LLC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Field Installation Technician you will be responsible for installing configuring maintaining and troubleshooting our lowvoltage systems at client locations. You will ensure that our systems are operational meet the clients requirements and are in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install configure and test low voltage systems including access control video surveillance fire alarms intrusion detection and other related systems at client sites.
  
• Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide accurate estimates for projects.
  
• Collaborate with the project management team to plan and schedule installations ensuring timely and efficient deployment of systems.
  
• Perform onsite troubleshooting diagnostics repairs and maintenance of installed systems to ensure optimal functionality and client satisfaction.
  
• Train clients and endusers on the proper use and maintenance of lowvoltage systems.
  
• Document all installations configurations maintenance activities and repairs accurately and thoroughly.
  
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working onsite and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  
• Communicate effectively with clients internal teams and management to provide project updates resolve issues and ensure successful project outcomes.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to provide technical expertise and support as needed.
  
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in lowvoltage systems and technologies.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or course work in electronics security systems or a related field is preferred.
  
• Previous experience in the installation configuration and maintenance of safety and security systems is highly desirable.
  
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of electronic systems wiring and network fundamentals.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation schematics and blueprints.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Valid drivers license and Good Driving Record
