Job Description

Role Summary The Payroll Specialist - APAC is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This role ensures compliance with local regulations, company policies, and handles various payroll-related tasks, including data management, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The APAC Payroll Processor collaborates with HR, Finance, and external vendors to maintain payroll accuracy and resolve payroll-related issues. What you will do • Payroll Processing: Execute end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries within the APAC region. Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and deductions. Manage payroll inputs such as new hires, terminations, bonuses, and adjustments. • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure payroll compliance with local tax regulations and labour laws. Prepare and submit statutory filings and reports as required by local authorities. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll documentation. • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records in HRIS and payroll systems. Conduct regular data audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Safeguard the confidentiality of employee payroll information. • Payroll Accounting: Need to prepare and post payroll journals for all the payroll as well as statutory payments accounted in financial software. • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address and resolve payroll-related queries. Liaise with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing. Assist employees with payroll-related issues and inquiries promptly. • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for payroll process improvements and automation. Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations within the APAC region. Recommend best practices to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy. What you will bring • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field. • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing of Australia and Philippines and preferably APAC region • In-depth understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations in the APAC region. • Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations in the APAC region. • Proficiency in payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, SAP). • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.#B1
