Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably within the engineering industry.
Adept at understanding the effect of NPI, and planning around inventory and where NPI will fit in.
Proven people management ability
Demand planning
Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and being in a role that handles a wide scope that includes Planning, Procurement, Logistics, 3PL, International Supply Chain, and building teams
Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
Proven leadership skills, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence others.
Ability to analyze and forecast financial trends.
Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is preferred.
