Job Description
- Coordinate transportation and delivery of goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers.
- Select and manage logistics partners and transportation providers.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of products.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Optimize inventory turnover rates and reduce holding costs.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.
- Implement best practices for warehouse management and organization.
- Ensure the safety and security of inventory.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast product demand.
- Develop inventory plans based on demand forecasts and sales data.
- Track and report on key logistics and inventory metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement in logistics and inventory processes.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
