Job Title: Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager

Location: Shah Alam Selangor

Position Overview

The HSE Manager will oversee and enhance health safety and environmental programs at our Internet Data Centre.

Candidates should have Green Book certification and at least 5 years of HSE management experience preferably in a data center or techfocused setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to HSE regulations for data center operations.
• Policy Development: Create and maintain HSE policies and procedures specific to data centers.
• Risk Management: Perform risk assessments and audits to address hazards in data center operations.
• Training: Implement HSE training programs to boost safety awareness and compliance.
• Incident Management: Investigate incidents and nearmisses and implement corrective actions.
• Environmental Management: Manage environmental practices including energy efficiency and waste management.
• Safety Culture: Foster a proactive safety culture through engagement and continuous improvement.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records and prepare compliance reports for management and regulators.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science Engineering or related field.
• Certification: Green Book certification required.
• Experience: At least 5 years in HSE management ideally within an Internet Data Centre or similar.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of HSE regulations excellent communication and leadership abilities and proficiency with HSE management software.
