Job Description
On behalf of a fintech start up in London we are exclusively recruiting for a Financial Controller/ Head of Finance.
Working alongside the CEO and CFO you will be tasked to develop a bestinclass finance and finops function.
Responsibilities
- Develop maintain and improve financial operation processes and controls to support the growth of the business.
- Develop the financial processes related to the new SaaS / Marketplace business.
- Forecasting and departmental budgeting for internal use and external fundraising.
- Liaise with and oversee outsourced finance administration teams.
Requirements
- ACA/ ACCA Qualified with c. 5 years experience PQE.
- Prior experience within a fintech startup/ SaaS or similar organisation with ambitious growth plans.
- Proven experience building a finance function from the ground up.
- Ability to work directly with the Senior Management Team and external investors.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and will have prior experience working in a scaling organisation. Additional Requirements include: Strong commercial acumen with ability to work alongside CEO and Board members. Experience working with/ implementing accounting processes, procedures and information systems. Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment is highly advantageous but not essential. Ability to build and lead a team through a significant change and growth period.
