Job Description
Position Title: Senior Accountant
Work Setup: Hybrid
Salary: Php 75000.00 Php 95000.00
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM PH Time
Our client provides comprehensive business advisory services including accounting taxation GST business planning strategy management consulting and advice on the sale or purchase of businesses and investment properties. They focus on delivering certainty innovative solutions and avenues to wealth for their clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities as a Senior Accountant:
Deal with customer enquiries and provide additional services as required
Ensure clients consistently receive service excellence in line with our service standards
Develop an indepth knowledge of all clients financial situations
Prepare Financial Statements
Prepare Cashflows and Business Management reports
Prepare tax return for individuals partnerships trusts companies and SMSF s
Prepare Business Activity Statements
Prepare tax planning strategies
Prepare Annual Trust Distribution Resolutions
Complete FBT Returns
Liaise with the tax authorities on client matters
Liaise with Superannuation funds and other representatives in relation to client funds
Prepare Business Grant applications
Business entity setup and registration
Prepare tax registrations and applications as required
Train and support clients in the use of Xero
Provide general accounting and taxation advice to clients in consultation with CEO and other accountants
Other duties as requested
Qualifications as a Senior Accountant:
35 years proven Australian Public Accounting experience
Proficiency in the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for Individuals Companies Trusts and SMSF s
In Depth Knowledge of CGT and Div7A legislation(good to have)
Excellent knowledge of Accounting Software Including Xero Quickbooks & MYOB
Excellent knowledge of XERO Tax & Practice Management
Excellent Knowledge of BGL
Excellent knowledge of taxation legislation
Skills for communicating those concepts
Excellent use of Word Excel and Outlook
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn show initiative and be a positive team player
Ability to build relationships with clients
Proactive Looking for opportunities for clients.
Positive and happy attitude
Highest standard of ethics confidentiality and professionalism
Excellent time management skills
