Key Responsibilities:
As the Production Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our chemical factory production. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating the departments staff to achieve high standards and meet production targets.
- Overseeing all operating processes to maximize efficiency safety and quality.
- Planning and scheduling production to align with orders and oversee the manufacturing process.
- Preparing and monitoring budgets to ensure optimal use of resources within financial parameters.
- Maintaining regular communication with other departments to coordinate operational requirements.
- Advising and supporting the purchasing warehousing distribution and logistics departments.
- Implementing and monitoring maintenance schedules to minimize plant downtime.
- Fostering effective relationships with senior management to support corporate objectives.
- Managing the procurement storage and dispatch of finished and raw materials ensuring efficient use of the Bill of Materials (BOM).

Qualifications:
- Matric
- BSc / BTech in Chemistry (advantageous)
Relevant Experience:
- Proven success in a similar position
- 5 years of seniorlevel experience in operations management
- Experience in the water industry
- Excellent negotiation organizational time management and decisionmaking skills
Certifications Licenses and Registration:
- Membership in an appropriate professional body (advantageous)
- Valid drivers license
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally
