Position: Dairy Agriculture/AI Technician

Work type: Fulltime

Job Description:

Our employer client is seeking a skilled and experienced Dairy Agriculture/ Artificial Insemination (AI) Technician to join their team on a fulltime basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to dairy farming and AI works including herd management breeding and recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine health checks and provide basic care for dairy cows

Monitor and maintain herd health and productivity

Assist with breeding and calving processes

Perform artificial insemination procedures

Maintain accurate records of herd information and breeding data

Operate and maintain equipment related to dairy farming and AI work

Identify and address any potential health or production issues

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient farm operations

Stay uptodate on industry developments and implement new techniques as needed

Required Qualification & Work Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Agriculture Animal Science Animal Husbandry Veterinary Medicine and/or higher relevant qualification
• At least 3 years of recent and relevant experience in a mediumtolarge commercial farm

Other Skills:

• Ability to work with a team and/or independently with less supervision
• Good communication skills
• With a good English test score is an advantage (minimum PTE score 36 or IELTS 5.0 overall)
• Experience in Canada Japan Demark USA and New Zealand is an advantage
• Must have a valid Drivers license
• Knowledge of herd management and breeding techniques
• Familiarity with recordkeeping and data management
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
