Position: Maintenance / Mechanical Technician

Our Australian employer is a leading provider of maintenance and mechanical repair services for various industries in Australia. We are committed to providing highquality and efficient services to their clients ensuring their equipment and machinery are running at optimal performance.

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance / Mechanical Technician to join their team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on a variety of equipment and machinery ensuring their proper functioning and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance and repair work on equipment and machinery including troubleshooting diagnosing issues and making necessary repairs

Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively

Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects

Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance work

Communicate with clients to understand their maintenance needs and provide solutions accordingly

Stay updated with industry developments and advancements to improve maintenance processes and techniques

Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed

Required Qualification & Work Experience:

• Must have Trades Qualification and;
• At least 3 years recent and relevant experience on heavy machinery farm machinery feed mill operation farm maintenance or diesel mechanic.

Other Skills:

• Ability to work with a team and/or independently with less supervision
• Good communication skills
• With a good English test score is an advantage (minimum PTE score 36 or IELTS 5.0)
• Work experience in petrol and diesel is a good advantage
