Accountant Specialist with Spanish and English

Our client is the leading selfstorage operator and they are looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for the accounting financial statements and taxation of one of the groups companies. Responsible for managing the accounting operations of the companies in compliance with required GAAP standards including balance sheets P&L statements Capex vendor management intercompany reconciliations equity and debt

Tasks

• Responsible for managing the accounting operations of the companies in compliance with required GAAP standards including balance sheets P&L statements Capex vendor management intercompany reconciliations equity and debt
• Oversee financial reporting and tax filings for multiple entities
• Coordinate with external firms for seamless accounting and tax closures
• Manage bank reconciliations and invoice processing for efficient financial operations
• Ensure accurate recording of fixed assets and active participation in monthly closures
• Coordinate vendor onboarding and liaise with financial institutions

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Finance or related field
• Experience performing similar duties in the accounting department of a company or in an accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan
• Knowledge of IFRS is desirable
• Knowledge of Italian is a plus
