Tasks

The position and your daily adventures

This is a fulltime position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model therefore we are looking forward to seeing you in our office 23 times per week.

What you can expect:

• Manage all fraud operations initiatives within the organization
• Lead a team of analysts: assign tasks monitor progress provide feedback and accompany their growth
• Collect clean and preprocess large datasets from various sources
• Analyze and interpret complex data to identify fraud trends patterns and insights
• Administrate fraud management tools
• Optimize inhouse algorithms and models to improve our fraud detection capabilities
• Put in place and monitor operational processes aimed at detecting and stopping fraudulent activity
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for datadriven insights and solutions
• Communicate findings and insights to technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Requirements

You and your assets

What we are looking for:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Economics or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python or some other programming language well suited for mass data processing
• 3 years of experience in data science machine learning or related field
• Proficiency in data analysis visualization and manipulation
• Experience with SQL
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think creatively
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• One year of team management experience
• Experience in financial services is a nice to have
• Experience with fraud detection tools is a plus
